The goal is to create lasting protection for vulnerable breeds and pass on the nation's heritage to future generations. In May 2022, with the permission of the authorized bodies in the territory of the Nura district, Karaganda region in the vicinity of the Bozzhyra hill, in the presence of inspectors of the Karaganda regional territorial inspection of the Forestry and Hunting Committee, newborn saigas in the amount of 69 individuals were removed from the natural environment with their subsequent placement in a nursery, and also under the supervision of researchers from West Kazakhstan Zhangir Khan University.
